Our client a global based high end furniture company is looking for a dynamic, personable and down to earth team player to join their close knit team.


This role will entail closely supporting the Sales Manager in a range of duties which allows for a diverse, fast paced and interesting role.


The main responsibilities in this role will include but not limited to:



    • Arranging all outgoing shipments, prepare all packages and receive/process all incoming shipments

    • Maintain and order office supplies as needed

    • Follow up with clients who have outstanding quotes

    • File management of all back up sales paperwork, ensuring that all information is complete

    • Raise purchase orders and process invoices

    • Maintain showroom appearance

    • Greet clients and assists them on the floor if a sales rep is not available

    • Assist with answering calls

    • Help the Sales team with trying to acquire new clients

    • Create sales quotes as required by the Sales team

    • Maintain and update pricelists

    • Send out mass market mailings and e-blasts in cooperation with Marketing

    • Organise and coordinate with Marketing and Showroom Staff, all special events from start to finish

    • Assist with Logistic arrangements

    • Manage all inventory levels in the showroom

    • Handle and track all samples


    To be successful in this role you will have:



    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, ideally within the Retail industry

    • Strong verbal and communication skills

    • Excellent computer skills

    • Ability to multi task

    • Strong time management skills to deal with conflicting time schedules

    • Have a friendly, personable and down to earth demeanour

    • A team player attitude

    • Ability to adapt and be flexible
