About the Company

This newly established business in Australia has offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. This role is integral in establishing and building the Melbourne business alongside the Director. This technology driven product will offer breakthrough solutions for Engineering and Construction consultancies and organisation's and has been very well received. Melbourne is a key market and with strong growth plans in place this is a great opportunity to make your mark.

You will be well supported by ongoing R&D, resource and marketing support from head office, a locally based Director and a market leading product that creates a point of difference in the market.

About the Role

You will have the responsibility to develop and execute an effective sales plan to drive growth in Victoria. Professional services sales experience is critical. A key objective is to build awareness of the product applications and develop long-term client relationships through leveraging existing relationships with Engineering and Construction consultancies and businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Establish partnering relationships with Engineering and Construction Consultancies

    • This is a hands-on business development role that will require you to manage your activity levels including: electronic mail outs, networking events and online self-branding

    • Develop and deliver on a strong sales plan

    • Create and execute winning strategies to convert opportunities into leads

    • Track and monitor clients on a consistent basis in order to follow up any potential leads

    • Prepare written proposals, tailored to specific clients in order to win both temporary and permanent business

About You

This role is all about attitude and your proven ability to build partnering relationships, as well as your capability to develop and implement practical sales plans that will lead to opportunities. Given the start up nature of the business in Melbourne, smaller jobs that build a consistent revenue stream will be important while you develop your networks that result in larger opportunities.

A high motivation and drive to succeed, personal accountability, flexibility, resilience and a natural at building relationships and networking are key attributes. Proven experience selling within a professional service environment will be highly regarded particularly dealing with Consultancies which will allow you to make the most of your networks and hit the ground running.
