Project Communications Adviser
Project Team Environment | truly autonomous and flexible environment
Initial six month contract | up to 18 months extension possible

The Project Communications Adviser will lead the development of communications for this Government Authority through major legislative reform. As the lead Communications Adviser, you will deliver on a broad range of internal and external communications milestones.


Embedded within this highly collaborative project team, you will be the Communications expert. An initial six month contract, this role may extend out to eighteen months for the right candidate. A VPS4 Level equivalent, rate will be dependent upon experience, starting at $49.96 per hour + Super



Responsibilities:



    • Deliver internal and external communication strategy for the Project Division addressing key legislative reform

    • Manage and maintain key communication assets to ensure consistency with legislative requirements and business policy including applicant guidance material, application forms, website content and correspondence letters

    • Plan and develop internal and external communication materials to support legislative reform, ensuring staff and stakeholders clearly understand changes and how they will be impacted

    • Work with internal subject matter experts to develop, distribute and publish key communication materials to support legislative changes including presentation and training material, fact sheets, FAQs, letters, emails and video content

    • Oversee marketing material and collateral including production and delivery

    • Oversee smooth delivery of operational (BAU) communications and troubleshoot where necessary

    • Support senior members of the division with communication advice where necessary

    • Liaise with key suppliers including mailhouse and print supplier to ensure operational communication are delivered consistently and that service levels are maintained

    Qualifications



    • Essential : Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in Communications or similar



    • Public Sector experience delivering in a similar role is very much preferred
