About the Role
You will have the responsibility to develop and implement a sales & marketing plan with the objective of driving growth and engagement. A key objective is to grow membership, the take up of services and identify and implement new revenue generation activities. This will be done through the development of strategic partnerships, communication and marketing campaigns, an enhanced digital marketing strategy including social media and expanded stakeholder communication channels.
Your key responsibilities are to:
- Build strong industry and partnering relationships that lead to revenue generation
- Increase the digital and industry brand presence
- Drive strong membership and industry engagement
- Grow membership and the take up of services
- Manage external communications
- Develop a digital and social media strategy
- Develop and implement marketing and brand campaigns
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Support internal departments with the development of marketing and communications material
Experience & Qualifications
To be successful; ideally you will have proven experience in a senior leadership role in sales and marketing within a busy, high pressure and diverse environment, membership industry experience is an advantage, however is not essential. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Marketing or post graduate qualifications will also be an advantage .
You will be diligent and highly organised with an eye for detail, be self motivated and have strong communication and interpersonal skills which will see you lead and develop your team. You will be entrepreneurial and capable of initiating new ways to build the Business and a proven successful track record of negotiation and influence as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholder is core to this role.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude, the ability to learn quickly with a strong attention to detail, combined with natural interpersonal skills that will see you quickly develop credibility and maintain strong stakeholder relationships are attributes that will ensure your success in the role.
