Our client is seeking a senior policy or executive officer to reveiw govenment proposals. Supporting a senior executive you will provide day-to-day coordination and project support; coordiassisting with management of public submissions (and analysing these) coordinate public notification requirements; organise & attend community meetings; assist with registering and scheduling speakers and managing procedures for the public inquiry (with the project support person); assist in the preparation of reporting material arranging appropriate venues for the public inquiry; (or working with the project support person to ensure this occurs)


Suitable candidates will have preferably have government experience and will be organised, a self-starter, have excellent written communication skills and able to work well as part of a small team. The Executive Officer (EO) will work directly with an executive on the merger examination process and will provide project management support throughout. You will be adept at responding quickly to issues and questions as they arise and be able to provide support to the Senior Executive to ensure due process is followed.
