New position due to growth in Firm

The Financial Planning division of this firm is a mid-size IFA servicing the needs of a large range of retail clients. Recent business expansion has dictated the need for a new Financial Planner to join the team. The Financial Planner is to work closely with the Director & Senior Financial Planner and Financial Planning support team to ensure efficient, compliant, accurate and prompt delivery of the full financial planning process.



Experience Required:



    • 2-5 years experience as a Financial Planner providing superannuation, insurance and investment advice to retail clients

    • Proven ability to work independently within a team environment while servicing the full financial advice process

    • Experience utilising Xplan system



    Key Skills Required:



    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    • Able to work under pressure

    • Aptitude for research

    • Good with numbers

    • Analytical & planning skills

    • Interest in the financial markets

    • Good time management and organisation skills

    • Ability to handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously, and be able to ensure successful outcomes.

    • Ability to develop trust relationships with clients, associates and management


  • Salary is negotiable for the right candidate however as a guide, the Firm is looking to provide base salary around $70,000 + Super per annum + Commissions
