Hudson are exclusively recruiting for a Head of Risk and Compliance role working for a Superannuation Fund based in Sydney. Reporting directly into the CEO this is an excellent opportunity for someone to further their career from a Senior Risk Manager role into a Head of Risk and Compliance position.
The main purpose of the role is to coordinate, implement and maintain the organisations risk management framework, you will do this by building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst identifying key risk and compliance issues that may effect the organisation.
To assist you in this role you will have a compliance manager reporting into you, so previous people management experience is highly desirable.
Some of your other responsibilities will include helping shape and maintaining a positive risk culture throughout the organisation and providing and coordinating risk and compliance training to the board, management and staff members.
You will also have oversight of business continuity planning and act as the funds privacy and AML/CTF officer. As the Head of Risk and Compliance you will be the main point of contact for ASIC and APRA and will provide regular updates to the CEO and executive management in respect to key regulatory and legislative issues.
To be considered for this role you must have previous risk and compliance experience ideally from the financial services sector, you will have previous experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to communicate at board level. You will have the ability to work relatively autonomously and have the ability to manage and prioritise your workloads. Excellent written communication skills are also essential to be considered for this position.
