About The Role
The Key Account Manager
As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the Contract Manufacturing relationships ensuring business compliance and profitably. You will have a mandate to build volume by sourcing new business opportunities with a goal to improve business returns from the Contract Manufacturing channel. By engaging internally and externally with key stakeholders you will work with current contracts to help improve returns and efficiencies and managing all the day to day activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Increase Volumes and build new business.
- Help prepare budgets/ forecast for contract manufacturing.
- Administration of contracts and pricing.
- Report on performance of contract manufacturing customers.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
To be successful; you will have minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager within an FMCG manufacturer. You will have completed a tertiary degree in Business or Commerce and a core understanding in numerical and financial analysis is important to track and manage contract compliance and business performance metrics. A strong finance background would be considered favorably. You will be highly proficient in Excel and have a strong financial understanding for forecasting and costing projects. The ability to negotiate and influence product supply agreements would be highly regarded.
You will be diligent and highly organised with an eye for detail and be self motivated to be successful while working autonomously and as part of the team. You will have strong contract compliance skills and will be continuously required to complete key business activities on time and deliver commercial and tangible business objectives.
