About The Company
Our client is one of Australia's largest and finest public listed companies in the FMCG sector. We are currently looking for a National Account Manager - Retail to join a high performing and dynamic team.
About The Role
As the National Account Manager - Retail you will manage the day to day processes of domestic retail customers and ensure a high level of customer service while achieving a strong financial outcome and sales results. This is a truly collaborative role responsible for nurturing strong long term relationships with our valued retailers.
As the National Account Manager, you will be given the autonomy to engage the necessary resources to complete business processes and activities within the business. You will ensure the timely and successful delivery of business solutions according to customer needs and business objectives. You will be responsible to engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and grow business opportunities and provide clear communication of progress updates.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Timely and successful delivery of business solutions.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Administration of contract and price files.
- Prioritise key activities and support changing demands accordingly.
- Working collaboratively with the retailers to grow their brands while forming strong long lasting relationships.
Experience & Qualifications
To be successful; ideally you will have minimum of 5 years' experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager within an FMCG manufacturer and have completed a tertiary degree in Business or Commerce. A strength in numerical and financial analysis is important to track and manage your business metrics therefore you will need to be highly proficient in Excel and have experience interpreting and reporting using scan data.
You will be diligent and highly organized with an eye for detail and be self motivated to be successful while working autonomously and part of the team. You will have strong customer service skills and will be continuously required to complete key business activities on time and deliver commercial and tangible business objectives.
