Large State Government Change Project
ASAP Start| Initial contract to Dec + extensions

If you are passionate about engagement and change then seize this opportunity to make a difference for this large State Government Department!



Oversee and execute the people engagement side of change management as this department undergoes a redesign process. Embedded within the People and Culture team, you will be part of a new unit focused on improving the people side of change. This is a great opportunity to utilise you expertise, whilst working with a supportive Director and Change Manager. Your skill-set will really be valued and the importance of your work recognised.



This is an initial contract until December with further opportunities thereafter for the right candidate.


This role is offered at a VPS5 or VPS6 equivalent rate dependant on the depth of engagement experience.



Responsibilities:




    • Develop and implement an engagement strategy to minimise employee resistance

    • Work with project teams to integrate change engagement activities into the overall project plan

    • Work with communication, training, and human resource specialists to formulate plans and activities to support the project

    • Manage the design, development, and implementation of capacity building and knowledge transfer (training) based on the redesigned processes and systems.

    • Support managers and business leaders to execute change engagement and knowledge management plans.

    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to encourage adoption of collaboration tools and techniques.

    • Create and deliver end-user awareness and training programs.

    • Actively and visibly coach leaders who are change sponsors.

    • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.

    • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.



    About you:




    • Comfortable working in a complex, matrix environment.

    • A team collaborator

    • Qualified fields related to stakeholder engagement, change management and communications would be highly regarded.
