Project Manager, Licensee Remediation



12 Month FTC for Bank in CBD.



Bank is looking to hire a Project Manager with Licensee Remediation experience.



You will be part of the broader Advice Quality and Assurance team responsible for managing mechanisms to audit and provide assurance regarding the quality of financial advice, and to work with advisers to continue to lift the quality of advice as well as embed compliant advice business practice.



You will primarily be responsible for developing project plans for the delivery of non-financial Licensee Remediation. This will include leading multiple project events that involve significant business value and risk implications across licensees, divisions and business units. Proactively working with the Manager Advice Assurance, you will identify and promote key events and projects to senior management level to drive delivery and resolve technology and business issues, risks and dependencies.



Development of project plans will focus on the remediation of non-financial or compliance related failures and will include:



    • Sizing each non-financial remediation project event

    • Identifying issues requiring rectification

    • Setting clear deadlines and accountabilities for action owners

    • Development of resourcing proposals

    • Cost forecasts; and

    • Delivery timeframe forecasts


    You will also coordinate and manage stakeholder working groups, oversee the implementation of the project plans and regular progress reporting and work with stakeholders to identify process improvements. Your role will require the effective engagement and management of key stakeholders including Case Investigators, the Licensees, first and secondline Risk, Advice Review and Legal.



    Furthermore, consistent application of the remediation framework, procedures and methodologies, aligned with the licensee business standards across the four licensees is essential.



    Core Requisites:



    • Extensive experience in both Advice and Project Management
    • proven experience in advice remediation preferred
    • Solid understanding of the financial planning process

    • Superior verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with different business functions and senior executives

    • Proven effective stakeholder engagement and management

    • Results focussed team player with sense of urgency, able to deliver to deadlines
