My client is a recognised employer of choice within WA, who has a diverse and mixed portfolio of assets. Working with a diverse and interesting project team, due to a peak in business activities, my client has an immediate requirement for a Scheduler.

You will be responsible for providing resource scheduling, costing, analysis, reporting and liaison services to support the asset condition assessment process and progressively monitor the overall effectiveness of the group in order to optimise program delivery.


    • Plans and schedules workflow for teams and projects according to previously established client sequences, lead times and standard durations.

    • Establish a master forecast and planning tool to optimise resource allocation across engineering projects.

    • Maintain and report on monthly financial performance to enable decisions to be made by managers.

    • Develop, evaluate and present analysis reports to communicate the status of business unit performance, and recommend action to ensure targets are achieved.

    • Assists in the scheduling of engineering builds, namely in the design, fabrication, and commissioning

    • Analyses engineering specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and resource requirements for the schedule.

    • Responsible for the master Schedule and project work load planning and forecasting tools.

    • Provide standard duration cost estimates to customers, forecast workload and act as the first contact for customer interface.

    • Establishes Scope documents with customers,

    Knowledge and skill required:

    • Demonstrated proven scheduling and estimating skills

    • Sound knowledge of project management principles.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and customers.

    • Proficient in the use of standard scheduling software.

Additionally, you will be responsible for pulling together all of the schedules making the easily visible and accessible to appropriate parties.
