We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for one of our clients based in the heart of the city. They have been around for 30 years, and are still growing. They believe in building long standing relationships and putting people first. They are a business that likes to diversify the way they work and they are also a values based business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitor and action accounts emails
  • End to end Accounts Payable
  • End to end Accounts Receivable
  • Debt collection
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Support payroll
  • Assist with GST, RWT and PAYE
  • Assist with Month end reporting
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Any other ad hoc tasks

To be successful in this role you will need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and must be able to work autonomously. Advanced excel skills will be advantageous. You will also be self-confident and be a critical thinker.
