The company

Our client is a leading financial institution within the New Zealand and Australian market place with over 20 years of experience spearheading the industry with their growth strategy and diversified financial services.

The role

Reporting into the Customer Technology Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for gathering, providing and documenting business requirements, understanding business problems and be able to identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, liaising with key stakeholders to lead the advancement and implementation of solutions to continuously improve business processes, products and systems will be a core function of your role.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Working closely with the UX/UI team to deliver an excellent digital customer experience.

    • Collaborating with the Programme delivery team to identify and develop business requirements as needed.

    • Ensuring all business analysis activities are completed within agreed timeframes

    • Supporting internal customers to meet project requirements

    • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the wider company

    • Facilitating workshops and solution design sessions

    • Validating requirements with the customer and other members of the project team to ensure customer expectations are being achieved

    • Developing process improvements and identify potential areas for continuous advancement

    Key requirements

    You will ideally be an established Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in a technology facing role. You will have a degree in Business, IT or a related discipline and ideally possess an industry qualification.

    Additionally you will be experienced with:

    • UX/UI

    • Business process improvement and modelling

    • Leading innovative and intricate projects within a complex environment

    • Extrapolating, analyzing and interpreting data from various sources from both within and outside the business

    • Problem solving, solution design and analysis techniques

    • User Centred Design processes (testing and research)

    • An agile environment and related methodologies

    • Database platforms such as Oracle and SQL server
