Gathering functional and non-functional requirements
Implementation of a biosecurity system

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the business analyst you will be working on gathering functional and non-functional requirements for a biosecurity system that will go to RFP. You will be required to run workshops with a varierty of stakeholders that include procurement, business team leaders, technical architects and individuals from other agencies. You will need to be someone who brings strong experience in workshopping and building trust fast with people to collect the right information for this project to move forward.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Experienced contract history in government
  • Strong relationship building
  • Experienced in workshopping, facilitating discussion and engaging 1 on 1
  • Proven ability to self manage and meet deadlines
  • Excellent ability to write and document requirements

This role will involve a great deal of stakeholder engagement and therefore you must have a proven ability to be comfortable in running workshops with a variety of audiences and numbers. A strong emotional intellect is a must as you will need to build relationships fast due to the shortness in length of this contract.
