We have exciting opportunities for claims consultants to grow their careers in an extremely supportive team environment in one of NZs market leading brands in the Insurance Industry.

Role:

The purpose of a Claims Consultant is to provide an exceptional level of customer service whilst also ensuring company policies and procedures are met. The role will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Attend to customer claims inquiries via phone or email
  • Having a clear understanding of the nature of the claim
  • Prioritising tasks and undertaking appropriate action
  • Ensure all suppliers are adhering to the companies service standards
  • Ensure timely settlements
  • Manage claims process for all claims lodged in line with company policy
  • Resolve customer complaints in an effective and timely manner
  • Have a clear customer-centric approach to service
  • Constantly adhere to companies procedures and policies

The Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal candidate has the ability to naturally build rapport with customers, have good listening and communication skills and be able to gather information whilst being empathetic yet direct. You will have:

  • Previous phone based customer service experience
  • Insurance or financial industry experience is ideal
  • Clear and precise communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Ability to relay specific and precise information
