About the company

The company is one of the longest established trust businesses in New Zealand, and offers a total wealth management service to individuals as well as corporate trustee services to businesses.

About the role

You will join an established yet growing Governance & Investor Oversight team as a Compliance Officer. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide compliance framework, while acting as an internal consultancy to the business to ensure understanding of and adherence to relevant legislation.

Duties

  • Collate, test and monitor compliance reporting
  • Provision of high quality advice to stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Undertake compliance initiatives to ensure effective meeting of regulatory obligations

Skills & Experience

  • Two to three years financial services compliance experience
  • The ability to bring critical thinking and a fresh perspective
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to deal with change and response effectively under pressure
  • Current valid NZ work rights
