Fixed term until December this year

About the opportunity:

This position is starting immediately and will be a fixed term contract until the end of the year (inner Christchurch location). As a Customer Service Disputes Officer you'll work collaboratively with key stakeholders involved to investigate and resolve customer claims challenges, disputes and complaints.

About the person:

You'll have open positive communication skills and you're comfortable managing expectations whilst maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism. You'll go further to provide tailored and appropriate service and solutions whilst dealing with a range of key stakeholders involved.
You are a customer-orientated individual who enjoys working collaboratively towards a common outcome, and love a challenge.

Experience and skills required:

  • Solid experience in a customer service role
  • Active listening skills
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution in your customer service position
  • Intermediate MS Word & Excel plus the ability to pick new systems up quickly
  • Ability to translate a complex situation into simple terms
  • Insurance industry experience may be advantageous

Suitable candidates must be able to start immediately and must be able to work in NZ legally for the whole duration of the contract.
