An opportunity now exists to join a large complex corporate organisation that place technology at the heart of how the business operates and understand the importance it will play as part of their future growth strategy.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for:

  • Formulating a strategic category management plan and leading the procurement process from end-to-end.
  • Developing an effective working relationship with suppliers and ensuring that they deliver to expected outcomes.
  • Negotiating all commercial terms and service level agreements.
  • Conducting all regular contractual reviews and renewals.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • A high level of self motivation and determination to stay engaged throughout a commercial or procurement process.
  • The willingness to mentor and provide support to others members within the procurement team and the wider business.
  • The ability to gain credibility with key internal/external stakeholders by providing commercial advice based on analytical insights and an innovative approach to decision making.
  • The ability to achieve positive commercial outcomes faced with difficult market conditions.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience as a Procurement Manager, Commercial Manager or Contracts Manager ideally with a technology focus. You will also possess a high level of commercial acumen and strong analytical skills.

From a personality perspective you will be a self-starter and somebody that likes to contribute solutions to complex problems by challenging the status quo.
