My client is a top financial services organisation going through a period of exciting change, based on the CBD fringe.

About the role

This is an exciting long term role which will see you challenged day to day. Reporting into the Senior Manager for the team you will enjoy a really busy and varied role with duties such as:

  • Bank reconciliations (large volume)
  • Setting up automatic payments
  • Processing relevant journal entries to clear reconciliations
  • Investigate and clear unidentified received customer payments
  • Daily refunds
  • Direct credit and debit batches
  • processing dishonoured payments
  • Running the daily cheque batch
  • Data entry of AP invoices
  • Other adhoc administration duties as required

About you

You will be a highly motivated accounting graduate who also has previous reconciliation experience preferably in a larger organisation. Experience in Peoplesoft will be a bonus and you will definitely need at least an intermediate level of Excel. Along with the hard skills and experience you must bring to the table your energy and drive as this is a high achieving environment. It's also a customer services orientated part of the business so excellent communication skills are essential as well as great interpersonal skills for dealing with stakeholders.
