Business Development Manager - Asia - Singapore

Our client is a globally established, growing Information Technology Company which has a strong presence across the globe and is looking to build its operations within the APAC region. This organization offers a wide portfolio of products that are catered to financial institutions, corporations, financial technology companies and governments. This company is looking to hire a Business Development Manager based out of Singapore.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, as an Business Development Manager you will be responsible for acquiring new business primarily from prospects through sales of solutions within corporate and non- banking financial services sector. You will plan, organise and execute sales campaigns and business trips to maximise revenue generation and attend exhibitions and conferences as required.

In this position you will require the following:

* Proven track record of direct sales in a B2B environment
* Proven track record of generating new business is essential
* Preferable with a background in data or market research or enterprise software sales
* Enjoys working in a structured, targeted environment to challenging KPIs
* Great negotiation and communication skills
* Highly self-motivated, organised and be able to manage own time
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the changing market, our customers and the business
* Good levels of IT literacy are expected
* A degree or equivalent is desirable
* Previous experience of would be an advantage
