Global Company in the telecommunication space looking for Commercial Finance Manager

THE COMPANY

A company who is a globally recognised brand in the Telecommunication space. They have a turnover in excess of $2 billion. Due their rapid expansion plans in the APAC region, are now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who is able to significantly value add to their management team.

THE ROLE

You will be reporting to the Commercial Finance Director in an individual contributor role . Your responsibilities include:

* Partner with business and market finance teams as finance lead on regional client pitches (pricing and staffing discussions). Key point person for regional finance with global pitch teams.
* Provide ongoing support to business and market finance teams for regional clients, including but not limited to contract queries, out of scope project pricing, coordinate requests from global, finance operation matters. Participate in discussions with clients as necessary.
* Lead new regional client contract negotiations. Work closely with other stakeholders (new business leads, legal, client, etc).
* Work with business teams on new business initiatives. Develop financial set up and pricing structure and ensure compliance with Group policy.
* Key finance contact for on boarding of new clients, developing finance operation procedures for the region, review of accounting policies (e.g. revenue recognition) and resolving issues escalated by local teams.
* Point person for client termination procedures - ensuring outstanding balances are billed and collected, financial obligations returned to client, etc.
* Coordinate markets across APAC on client reporting. Review local market submissions to ensure compliance and consistency across markets.
* Perform regular analysis on client profitability and revenue reporting. Work with business leads to ensure business structure and processes are delivering optimal operating efficiencies. Develop and implement measures where necessary.
* Manage regional client audits. Actively support local markets on local market client audits.
* Lead regional initiatives to drive consistency in commercial matters across the region.
* Ad hoc requests from global teams and clients. Provide data which is complete, accurate and timely.

REQUIREMENTS

* You should possess a degree in Accountancy/Finance or is an MBA graduate with at least 6 years of finance experience in multinationals, preferably working with government tenders.
* You should have strong experience in managing client pitch evaluations from a finance perspective.
* You should have strong experience in strategic planning, trend analysis with 3-6 years in financial planning
* You should be a self starter with good communication and project management skills
