We are looking for Experienced Consumer Insight Director to join a successful consumer goods company.

The Role is responsible for developing and executing strategic research initiatives that benefit the portfolio of existing and new brands.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

* has wide experience of designing and execution various types of research, including: Complex, comprehensive quantitative studies (U&A, segmentation, etc.); Strategic opportunity identification through data analysis; Ethnographies and other qualitative studies;Tailored made solutions.
* Able to analyse research data, identify opportunities, and turn that into actionable strategies.
* Able to think creatively and strategically to uncover unspoken insights recommending the appropriate insights methodology.
* Ready to conduct research personally if needed.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead a team of internal researchers and external research partners to fulfil company's research & insights agenda, facilitate partner communications and logistics to ensure mutually beneficial experience.
* Create proposals for research engagements.
* Manage research outcomes with attention to business value.
* Identifying new strategic, business, branding and product opportunities.
* Lead presentation of consumer insights across the organisation.
* Coordinate efforts to implement insights across the group, through collaboration on development of business strategy, marketing campaigns, and product development .
* Help refine value proposition and drive productive brand outcomes.

Required qualifications:

* BA/BS in marketing, business, communications or related field, MBA preferred.
* 10 years in roles related to consumer insights, market research, and/or strategic marketing.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong strategic mindset.
* Strong analytical skills; able to interpret and present data to provide insightful, tactical recommendations
* Highly proficient in business software (e.g. MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and primary research tools.
* Knowledge of SAS, R or other statistical languages a plus.
* Comfortable with general web analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture/Site Catalyst, etc).
* Experience in reporting and presenting to senior executives.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Must be able to travel as required.
