We are looking for someone who will direct major communication programs, involving management of associates and/or projects. Primary responsibility for leading and managing a team (that may consist of both associates and external vendors) accountable for the successful design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of complex company wide communication programs. Communications may be in the form of electronics, print, face-to-face, video or writing. Also responsible for the program's design, production, and distribution. Responsible for the hiring, managing, training and developing associates on their team.



Accountabilities

* Develop strong understanding of business priorities and translate that into strategic communications plans and recommendations to drive partner engagement, input and endorsement
* Implement communication plan and tactics throughout the year that are fluid based on changing business / associate needs
* Leverage understanding of business, leader expectations, business priorities and associate morale and feedback to drive recommendations and influence decisions around communications; earn role as communications thought partner to leaders and partners
* Develop deep understanding of associate base and work backwards from desired outcomes to design communications plans
* Navigate across teams and partners in a matrixed environment to make linkages and connect dots for greater impact of communications



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* 7-10+ years developing and presenting custom communication plans and solutions within an internal communications or digital marketing agency
* Superior client service and demonstrated ability to grow internal and stakeholder relationships across a wide range of teams to plan and drive business goals
* Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
* Thinks strategically - Considers resources, market drivers, risks, and organizational values when making day-to-day business decisions, addressing problems and issues and devising short-term and long range business strategies
* Communicates and Influences-must be able to communicate to and influence all levels of the organization
* Demonstrates Business Acumen-must possess the ability to quickly assess situations and make decisions that will benefit the organization and stabilize the infrastructure behind it.
* Ability to work both independently and as a team member with personnel at all levels in the organizational hierarchy
