Our client is an actively growing fintech company with presents in six countries including Singapore.

As a Country Director, you will be overall responsible for partner engagement across all different countries across Asia. You will be responsible to lead the growth in countries, products, clients and revenue. You will be working closely with marketing, communications, analytics, legal, product development, engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in sales in the financial services industry, understands product pricing, and is willing to work in a dynamic start-up. You should have an expertise in one of the following areas: banking, insurance or fintech industries; as well as a solid network in the financial industry in Asia. The successful candidate will be able to grow existing partner accounts and on-board new partners for the company. You will work closely with the senior management team, country managers and strategic partners to deliver the agreed business targets.

Responsibilities:

- Onboard and contract new (regional) partners/ suppliers in the insurance, banking and intermediary space

- Maintain existing relationships and deepen engagement with existing partners

- Ability to express ideas and a critical view on enhancing our products and processes

- Work closely with the senior management team, country managers and strategic partners to deliver the agreed business targets

- Communicate best practices and lead by example

- Achieve exponential revenue growth

- Be informed on the latest market developments regarding finance and insurance across the region

- Work with the cross-functional team (product, engineering, marketing)



Requirements:

This job requires an assertive, no nonsense and hands on Director who has a proven record

in growing businesses. We would be looking for the following qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, marketing, business management or another related field of study

- Substantial expertise in one or more of the following areas: insurance, banking, product development and pricing

- Extensive knowledge and network in the financial industry in Asia

- Analytical, strong ability to draw insights from data and develop services accordingly

- Experience with operating within multi discipline and multicultural teams

- Ambitious, result-driven, detailed, great time management and prioritization skills

- Ability to demonstrate agility, flexibility and innovation in an environment where priorities and tasks can change rapidly

- A natural entrepreneurial style and a 'human touch' are essential to match the culture of the company

- Strong background as Sales/Client director with top sales experience and outperforming sales targets
