Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you are responsible for Singapore HR strategic and operational matters for the organization.

Supporting the growth of an international company is no easy feat - it demands diplomacy, super-human business acumen, and the ability to execute upon strategy that scales for a growing organization. In this multinational corporation, the HR Leader wears many hats, navigating through the matrix environment. We are now looking for a multi-faceted, business-centred Country HR Leader with experience working within a regional head office to support the business growth.

Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you are responsible for Singapore HR strategic and operational matters for the organization. You will manage and oversee the effectiveness HR initiatives and programs for Singapore including but not limited to workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development and compensation and benefits.

You will lead and guide a team of HR Business Partners and Operations Team in developing and executing HR strategies for the Singapore Office, implementing HR action plans, as well as reviewing HR policies, process and programs.

The responsibilities include:

* Providing HR leadership through the implementation and interpretation of policies and programs, coordination of information flow and marketing of HR strategy.
* Links overall Singapore HR strategy into business plans for all lines of business, understands the business and is closely aligned with the business leaders
* Develops relationships between business and support units, to ensure service levels are effectively managed and promote synergy between all HR functional areas.
* Partners with HR's Centres of Excellence to implement all HR initiatives within Singapore
* Assesses the impact of all HR business processes on the effective management of human resources data on a continual basis; identifies opportunities for process improvement.
* Strives for greater efficiency of human resources services through the recommendation of new approaches to established, policies, procedures and programs.
* Provides transition support in conjunction with outsourcing services contracts and mergers and acquisitions.


* Degree holder, along with minimum 12-15 years of professional work experience in HR and preferably at least 8 years of management experience in a matrix multinational
* Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including operation, compensation, benefits, employee relations and payroll
* Ability to work effectively with remote with staff in multiple locations.
* Strong leader with the maturity to deal with a broadorganisations range of challenges and proven track record of managing and developing teams
* Sound knowledge of labour and industry relations laws and practices
* Able to see the big picture and work on strategy while being hands on with the day to day function
* Demonstrated ability to coach management teams and communicate effectively across cultures
* Strong analytical, creative problem solving, project management, and change management skills
* Process and detail oriented; passionate about quality and continuous improvement
