Manages an assigned team to deliver a significant project/support activity, juggling competing requirements - quality, time and cost - to deliver to plan and achieve the defined business benefits. Show relentless effort to understand customers and deliver unbeatable value.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

*Resource complexity

*Manage, balance and direct the project team which may comprise business, PS and 3rd party suppliers.

*Manage any third parties working on the project to deliver time / cost / quality.

*Manage an assigned team of work level 2 & 3 PS specialists.

*Create and manage to capital and expenses budgets.

*Define detailed staffing and skill requirements.

*Agree to key performance indicators, deliverables, business benefits and other expectations.

*Develop problem solving skills of the project team.

*Define detailed plan and prioritises for the project according to business requirements

*Ensure that all risks are managed through the risk log and risk and mitigation strategies are set

*Manage work across all stages of the systems lifecycle

*Ensure effective transition into operations and support, efficient close down of the project

*Focus on building a new business capability through the delivery and development of an application solutions

*Challenge the business and culture in order to define and implement effective changes.

*Ensure project team works to defined management and PS development practices and works within blueprint established by stakeholders.



Experience required to be successful:

*Minimum of 5 years of Delivery/Project management experience, preferably in the retail industry

*Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience

*Industry specific process know-how for Retail processes is highly preferred

*Knowledge of modern, agile SW development methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban, as well as the traditional plan-driven methodologies (V-model, waterfall)

*Customer focused behavior, consultancy and presentation skills

*Literate (able to write credible documents) and numerate (confident with calculating costs and margins)

*Fluent Business Chinese skills (Spoken) as required to interact with Chinese associates

*Travel will be required (10% - 15%)

*Incident trouble shooting

*Experience managing Project Life cycle from project scoping up to deployment and maintenance Education

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT related field

*"Project Management Professional (PMP)" certification or equivalent will be an advantage"
