This Learning and Talent Lead for North East Asia will be responsible for managing and delivering curriculum and programs consistent with business.

Focusing on corporate and regional business priorities, this Learning and Talent Lead for North East Asia will be responsible for managing and delivering curriculum and programs consistent with the region's overall strategies.

This individual understands the need to customise/adapt learning programs to meet local business and cultural needs to ensure effective outcomes through a variety of delivery methods. You will be driven to deliver "world class" learning solutions to the various regional offices in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

* Lead talent & learning function across Japan, Korea and Taiwan
* Translate regional strategies into actionable talent and learning and development plans and initiatives
* Deploy global and regional L&D initiatives and ensure adapted for local business in areas of talent and leadership development, performance management and employee onboarding and engagement
* Work with the APAC Head Talent Development & North East Asia Cluster HR Director to deploy the annual talent assessment process ensuring the local HR teams are equipped with the tools and information to conduct effective business talent review discussions
* Develop the annual talent and learning program calendar and communicate with key stakeholders across the business and maximise participation in key programs
* As required develop and source North East Asia specific learning curriculum (internally and externally) and update existing curriculum both classroom based and through global learning management platform to ensure business relevance
* Provide L&D consultancy and advice to the business and conduct annual training needs analysis to determine key talent and learning priorities
* Develop strong relationships with regional L&D team, local HR teams, business line leaders, people managers and key vendors
* Support and enable the HR team in deploying employee engagement action planning activities

To perform this job successfully, the individual will have a degree from a college or university program, plus a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in learning and development related responsibilities, such as needs assessments, program design, and curriculum development. Prior experience in Japan, Korea and Taiwan will be advantageous.
