Regional Commercial leadership role with one of the best known brands in the world

About the Client

Our client is a global FMCG company known for their Household brands. Due to a strong presence and expansion across Asia, they are now looking for a Commercial Director, SEA in order to develop sales strategies, align sales processes and plans across the region.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will be accountable for the following:

* The Commercial Director is expected to play a leading role in SEA, mobilizing all functions to ensure full alignment and business results. This means that the Commercial Director is expected to chair the Business Team SEA on a regular basis to review Business Performance, remove hurdles and to grow the SEA business.
* Defining, executing and reviewing the sales plans and activities in the countries you are responsible for, and contributing to the global sales and marketing strategy and plan.
* Monitoring selling activities, pricing strategies and payments, targeting new sales opportunities with a clear strategy.
* Developing the direct and channel sales as well as major accounts within the business in order to increase your sales efficiency and reduce cost.
* Manage the sales cycle of your services and solutions and monitoring the process in order to be able to provide related customer service and ensure that the sales cycle can be shortened

The Successful Applicant

* At least 12 years of direct Sales/Marketing experience in FMCG sector with proven track record of achieving targets in the region.
* You possess strong leadership skills, a team-oriented approach and collaborative across other functional teams
* You have successfully managed teams in the past
* You are results-oriented, sales-driven, consultative and analytical with a great personal integrity
* You go to the extra mile in order to close deals successfully and overachieve targets
* You have an analytical mindset and a strategic capability to see the big picture
* You are hands-on, entrepreneur, able to think outside the box
