Senior Change Manager, Asia - Wholesale Banking

The role

An opportunity has arisen for an Asia Finance Change Manager to join the Asia Finance & Change Team. As part of the Asia WB TOM (target operating model) Roadmap and Finance Programme driven from Head Office, Finance Asia has a broad Change Agenda to further shape and manage on a daily basis for the CAO Asia and Asia Finance Change Lead. The client is looking for strong candidate to take up this role!

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for Asia Finance Change Portfolio (Asia Finance's people, process and system change from central and/or regional driven change) and part of the Asia Change team

* Support the initiation, set-up and structuring of initiatives and projects for Finance Asia
* Monitor the progress and delivery of Finance change initiatives and project delivery in Asia

close cooperation with local/ regional Finance departments and IT Asia is required for this

* Identify and track remediation of (potential) issues in delivery of Finance change initiatives in Asia

* Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness for Finance Asia for initiatives on theroadmap

* Project lead Finance owned change initiatives
* Regular and timely update senior management on status, risk and issues
* Identifying and managing Programme dependencies and dependencies with other Change Initiatives and Head Office
* Support the communication and updates of change initiatives to the wider Asia Finance community

* Maintain regular contact with other change managers within Asia and HO for alignment and updates on the roadmap and projects

* Monitor the Change budget and actuals for Finance Asia and
* Manage vendors and resources on Finance Change

* Asia Regulatory Reporting Projects (Local regulatory reporting, Basel reporting, new regulatory requirements)

* WB TOM Asia Finance
* Finance Service Model
* 4sight Programme & Data Architecture

* Change governance - Finance change budgets & governance, Service Level framework, outsourcing, external/ internal approvals (NFRC/ RCSA)

* People & Process - Capacity & resource needs, capabilities, development plans

* Support senior management (Regional CAO) to structure/ organize /align/ follow/ coordinate activities across branches on Finance topics that affect all locations, and serve as point of contact for outside the region

* Finance HO Requests adhoc
* Finance Asia Outsourcing reviews
* Finance Business Continuity Plans

Candidate Profile

Knowledge and experience:

* Bachelor/Master's degree
* 8+ years' experience in an international Wholesale Banking environment, preferable in a Change environment
* Good understanding of wholesale banking finance processes, and technology solutions
* Fluent in English (verbal and writing)
* Solid Finance related hand on experience
* Experience in finance change projects, roadmap - in strategic roadmap and portfolio
* Working or has worked in a global wholesale banking environment

* Willingness to independently learn and improve skills and knowledge
* Able to work in a team and work through others in the organization to succeed
* Able to maintain a pleasant attitude while in a high-pressure environment
* A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
* Experience and knowledge of change and project management principles, methodologies and tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong active listening skills
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
* Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
* Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
* Forward looking with a holistic approach
* Ability to translate new initiatives into proposals, roadmaps and executable plans
* Organized with a natural inclination for planning
* Problem solving and root cause identification skills
* Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
* Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
* Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
