THE COMPANY

Our client is a European med device MNC owned by a US parent entity. They have advanced technologies in diagnostics equipment for cancer and pathology research. They have a lean commercial finance team supported by a shared service center and searching for a very competent and confident finance manager or senior finance manager to business partner with their sales teams for further growth in Asian markets.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

* Work and report into the GM of 3 Business Units on implementing new business strategies and being a business partner rather than be in a support role
* Review management reporting and consolidation for monthly/quarterly/annual revenue and commercial spend
* Implementing changes as required and negotiating with commercial leaders and finance team stakeholders to ensure sales targets are met
* Providing prompt insights into key performance indicators through presentations and visual dashboards
* Reviewing and managing variance analysis and financial forecasting for several business and consumer based product business units across the APAC region
* Advising business unit managers on adjustments to be made on a monthly basis, unafraid of approaching senior stakeholders and have hard negotiations on forecasts from a compliance and finance perspective

REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for the role are per below:



* Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
* At least 8 years of experience, 5 years of which is in a commercial finance (FP&A) role
* Strong finance / accounting / analytical skills
* Progressive track record starting in external or internal
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Confidence to deal with senior stakeholders and handle challenging negotiations
* Ability to handle unknown information and changes in circumstances in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to deal with a steep learning curve and leverage on project management skills
* Team work skills to liaise across different internal stakeholders in Singapore and abroad.
