Retail, Private Banking and Wealth Management ITO is accelerating transformation of banking services by applying DevOps and Agile practices. Their Delivery Sprint Teams are at the core of delivering efficiency, automation, and improved transparency.



Digital Transformation works with all RPBWM ITO Delivery Teams to coach, guide and enable teams as the bank transforms from Waterfall to Agile working.



Job Description



The Digital Transformation team are Disrupters, challenging the bank and teams on outdated practices, providing coaching & expertise and removing blockers which slow the delivery of change to our clients and customers.



We are seeking talented and self-motivated individuals to join the team as Transformation Specialists. They will be matured individuals who have experience transforming and coaching development team(s) moving to a continuous improvement model. Our Transformation specialists support portfolios and teams as they on-board to Agile via a combination of training, facilitation, coaching and applying an inspect and adapt approach.



Whilst working within a team of transformation specialists to share experience and improvements; the role has responsibility to work directly with a Global Technology Head to define and refine the transformation strategy for their specific portfolio.



The successful applicant will demonstrate an awareness of the impact culture has on the way teams work and deliver, and bring ideas on how to transform both cultural and technical aspects of software delivery.



Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Transformation Lead for a Portfolio within RPBWM ITO
* Define & implement strategies for adoption & continuous improvement of Agile
* Be the Engineering practice expert for the Digital Transformation team
* Coaching, consulting, training & mentoring delivery teams

Qualifications and Skills



* 10+ years of software development experience

* Capable of senior stakeholders management, example face off or strategize with a Global Head of Technology or Managing Director level who leads more than 700 team members and 40-50 project streams.
* Prior experience working in an agile / DevOps environment
* Experience in application of quality engineering practices including TDD, CI & CD
* Experience of working through a Transformation Program
* Experience in delivering software in a regulated environment, ideally financial services based to high quality
* Excellent problem solving skills and critical thinking.

* Strong communication and written skills, ability to communicate your ideas with others at all levels of the organisation.
* Be flexible with changing priorities and multi-tasking.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant.
