Leading Multinational IT Company currently looking for a VP of Sales covering APAC based out of Singapore.

Vice President of Sales

Our client is a globally established, growing Information Technology Provider that specializes in financial technology solutions. This company has a strong presence across the globe and is looking to expand its operations within the APAC region. This organization offers a wide portfolio of products covering software, services, consulting and outsourcing solutions that are catered to financial institutions. This company is looking to hire a Vice President of Sales who will handle products within the Treasury space based out of the Singapore office.

As a VP of Sales you will be primarily responsible for delivering sales numbers for the team across the APAC region. You will have a team of 6-7 Sales QC's and Account Managers reporting into you.

In this role you will be responsible for:

* Develop and execute a sales strategy
* Maintain in-depth awareness of market and industry trends Build and implement the sales strategy to meet business targets Be accountable for sales metrics
* Enhance existing account relationships and ensuring a high rate of retention of installed user base
* Develop a sales pipeline to ensure continued meeting of revenue targets
* Build strong relationships with key senior clients and help close key deals as necessary
* Manage, coach and motivate the sales team
* Liaise with the product management team to identify new product initiatives and partnership opportunities, based on market intelligence
* Work with marketing to drive lead generation

In order to qualify for this position, you will need to meet the follow criteria:

* At least 10 years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions in a the fintech industry
* Strong domain knowledge in Treasury products for Banking and Financial Services clients is preferred; including knowledge on trade, risk and compliance, liquidity, cross-asset classes, private banking
* Demonstrable a strong track record of managing a team in APAC region which has consistently met or exceeded its sales targets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills
* Ability to extract and understand client needs
* Ability to retain a premium level of pricing against cheaper competitors, whilst making sound commercial decisions
* Capacity to inspire and influence peers and colleagues across the firm through industry expertise and excellence in all aspects of communication and leadership
* Confidently able to build both internal and external relationships
