My client is a small marine services company who are seeking an administration & accounts assistant to work closely alongside the administration manager.

Key responsibilities;

  • Attend meetings and minute taking
  • Some reception duties required - calls, mail, meet & greet visitors
  • Issue visitor passes & provide refreshments
  • Order office stationary, food supplies and uniforms
  • Monitor company social media pages and responsible for media management
  • Data management of new customers in the accounting software
  • Invoicing for new customers, monthly contractual agreements & issue customer receipts
  • Obtain purchase orders & allocate job numbers
  • Spreadsheet management & accurate data entry of project details
  • Authorise supplier invoices
  • Allocate general ledger, class and job numbers for invoices
  • Process employee expenses
  • Adhoc duties as and when required by management - running errands to the post office, picking up lunches for meetings


  • Intermediate level of computer skills - excel and accounting systems
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license is essential (manual car)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and both independently/part of a team
