6 Month month non-ongoing contract with potential for extension

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Senior Manager within a reputable Government Agency.

This role will suit a passionate and professional EA who prides themselves in their ability to partner their Manager, to proactively anticipate their needs and effectively manage their time.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Diary management and scheduling meetings
  • Screening emails and phone calls
  • Extensive internal and external stakeholder liaison
  • Preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Managing deadlines and following up action items
  • Travel coordination
  • Expenses
  • Other administrative tasks as required

While the key focus of this pivotal role will be to provide administrative support to your Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the wider team of experienced and down-to-earth Professionals, assisting them to operate at an optimum level.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Uncompromised attention to detail
  • A proactive can-do disposition with a track record of demonstrating initiative
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Suite skills
  • The ability to apply a high level of confidentiality, judgement and initiative to all situations
