AREA SALES MANAGER
SALARY UP TO $180k + SUPER
WORLD LEADER IN DISTRUBITING ELECTRONICS, COMPONENTS & TOOLS

THE COMPANY

This 75 year old organisation are leaders in their industry, they are the world's leading high-service distributor of electronics, automation and control components, tools and consumables, serving over 1 million customers globally. With operations across 32 countries and a global network of distribution centres worldwide.

THE ROLE

This is a pivotal role to the organisation and their revenue. Reporting to the Country Sales Manager and leading a team of 3 internal and 10 external sales staff you will be;

  • Leading your team and managing the SME clients
  • Manage supplier relationships to deliver best results
  • Be the central point for customer and people management issues
  • Use reporting to gather insights and deliver business forecasts
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for delivering sales and profit growth in line with business plan

YOUR SKILLS

You will bring with you;

  • Experience in distribution and e-commerce
  • 5 years management experience with a minimum of 10 in team
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Recruitment and training of all new staff
  • A proven track record of successful negotiations

IN RETURN

If successful the salary is up to $180K + super (depending upon experience). There is free parking onsite and some national travel will be required.
