A large, complex government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced Change and Communications Coordinator to join a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of multiple ICT initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the hands-on creation of change and communication plans, preferably within a government environment.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, with a possible extension, located in Brisbane CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the successful creation, business stakeholder sign-off and implementation of one or more structured change and communications plans.
  • Create and distribute of end user artefacts including email notifications, User Guides, FAQs, etc.
  • Publish project content to Intranet sites.
  • Evaluate and ensure end user and ICT support team go-live readiness.
  • Create and foster end user peer support capabilities including establishing communities of practice.
  • Scope and schedule training activities.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated 3+ years' experience in the hands-on creation and implementation of structured change and communication plans for the successful delivery of complex ICT projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the creation and distribution of professional change and communications artefacts including email, user guides, FAQs, instructional videos, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in the establishment of end user peer support forums.
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of cloud migration projects (Office 365 experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects involving significant organisation change.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience working in large, complex Government or private organisations.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to comfortably engage with end users, project team members, ICT support teams and C-level project stakeholders.
  • Professional representation to internal and external stakeholders.
