Complex IT and Business Transformation
Community Based Organisation

Our client is in the midst of an exciting transformation program as they move into a new regulatory environment. The IT Transformation Program will outsource and upgrade its core banking platform, radically changing systems and processes for their stakeholders. The programme involves migrating from a heavily customised system to an "out of the box" solution, as well as a transition from in-house to a vendor managed service. The project will also need to work alongside and deliver to a nascent service desk that is being established to support the new systems post go live.

A Change Manager is required on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to ensure stakeholders adapt their ways of working to the new platform.

As Change Manager, you will engage and manage diverse and dispersed stakeholders in major cities and regional areas across Australia and New Zealand to help them navigate their journey through the transformation and changes to their systems and processes. You will provide clear communications to ensure the new solution is effectively adopted.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive Change Management and Communications strategy and plan
  • Create a Business Impact Analysis, Benefits Realisation Plan and Business Readiness Assessment, and any other relevant Change Management deliverables
  • Engage with a diverse range of dispersed stakeholders with different levels of understanding and resistance to change
  • Ensure the stakeholders understand and adopt the transformation
  • Carries out risk assessment, and monitor benefits against the business case and project strategy
  • Assist the project team to turn the organisations strategy into an operational and delivery plan
  • Interstate travel will be required during key delivery phases
  • Delivery of change management duties for other ad hoc projects may be required

Experience required:

  • Demonstrated Change Manager experience within Transformation projects with a dispersed stakeholder base
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to ensure major transformations are adopted by a resistant stakeholder group
  • Demonstrated ability to produce Business Impact Analysis, Benefits Realisation Plans and Business Readiness Assessments.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into general communications
  • Knowledge of banking or financial systems would be beneficial

This role would suit an experienced Change Manager with a community focussed outlook, delivering outcomes benefitting a large community base.
