Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

We are currently interested in hearing from Project Managers with strong infrastructure and Civil Engineering experience on local Victorian road projects.

Our client are a major State Government department and interested in Project Mangers who can work across various civil infrastructure upgrade projects from concept-completion with likelihood of being involved in a cross between traffic and civil engineering environment.

This is a role which will work with various specialist engineers across specialist project segments, who will give support to this Project Manager and allow the PM to deliver and coordinate efficiently and effectively throughout a variety of stakeholder groups within State Government, Contractors and Consultancies or Suppliers.

The Role & Project Manager

In this role, you will be working in a team undertaking pre-construction, construction and transition activities including development of freeway operations designs, stakeholder engagement and liaison, risk management, contract and project management.

At Hudson, we are seeking a team player with sound professional judgement, strong conceptual, analytical, communication and negotiation skills. Assisting with the development of staffs technical and professional skills is also a key requirement of this role where necessary and a proven ability to manage projects in a civil infrastructure role.

This role operates in an environment where there is high level of independence as well as close interaction with other teams within the State Government and externally. Applicants should have demonstrated project delivery capability and relevant experience associated with road projects and/or intelligent transport systems (highly desirable).

A suitable Project Manager will ideally hold a relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or related discipline and a current and valid driver licence. Candidates with proven road infrastructure project management experience with a clear ability to demonstrate coordination across multiple stakeholders will be strongly considered.
