Based in Pyrmont

My client is a leading retail solutions company that delivers growth for retailers and brand owners and they are on the lookout for a sales/ account and relationship manager to join their team in Pyrmont.

The role:

The primary focus of this role is to support the development and execution of their clients' account plans, to implement and achieve targets and assist in executing growth strategies and increasing brand awareness.

This position is a pivotal role within the business and is the main contact point between the client and the field team, with a focus on communicating the client's priorities and targets to the national field team while providing insightful and timely reports back to the client.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for FMCG clients and field management team
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships with new and existing business
  • Analyse, recommend and support strategy to deliver growth for both grocery and non-grocery clients.
  • Exceed and meet all client deliverables and expectations against agreed KPIs
  • Present and deliver actionable insights across client portfolio
  • Create, update, analyse and distribute client reports
  • Work closely with Operations, Systems and Field teams to efficiently execute client requirements
  • Provide financial management of account as well as operational support

Essential skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an FMCG environment, with a solid understanding of the Australian grocery market
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to extract insight and make recommendations based on the review of internal data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Outstanding and confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and rapport with all levels of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Results driven and demonstrates initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with an understanding of the importance of client focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a motivated self-starter
  • Effectively manages and adapts to change in a fast-paced work environment
  • A strong commitment to contributing to the overall success of the team
