Our client is a peak national representative organisation who are looking for an experienced communications and marketing officer to manage their communications and marketing calendar including events and promotional activities

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include

    • managing and implementing the communication strategy including press releases, advisories, newsletters, websites and social media platforms

    • managing content on the organisations websites and social media platforms and monitor and grow engagement levels

    • monitoring, tracking and reporting on the brand reputation and traction with stakeholders across communication mediums; including social media platforms, and alerting the team to potential issues with the organisations brand

    • ensuring all messaging reflects the key message strategy across all communication mediums

    • liaising with media partners for corporate events and other activities

    • coordinating media interviews/briefings and editorial contributions

    • growing, developing and maintaining the organisations communications and media databases

    • managing media monitoring and clippings, as well as coverage analysis and competitor activity and generating communications reports

    • assisting with the implementation of corporate and individual business unit communication strategies to optimise stakeholder engagement

    • drafting notifications, fact sheets, newsletters, website and EDM content to promote the communications strategy across all business units

    • maintaining a calendar of industry related conferences to leverage speaking engagements

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or equivalent industry experience.
