My client is on the hunt for a Communications Coordinator, to be part of their small, unique and diverse team. The role is responsible for developing and coordinating all communications, both print and digital, to ensure distribution of accurate, timely, and professional media to stakeholders and external sources. The Communications Coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of the strategic communications plan and will also manage communications on the website and through social media networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and overseeing the production of internal and external communications, including drafting newsletters and media releases, and entering material into the CMS.
  • Writing and editing content for print and digital publications, the website and social media.
  • Developing and implementing a communications strategy and media plan for the target markets.
  • Implementing events strategy for key events.
  • Contributing to content and the redevelopment of the website, and maintenance of the internal database.
  • Providing support with the production of documents, including marketing collateral, published reports, and submissions.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with autonomy and independence.
  • High level oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Energetic, flexible and well organised with good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated skills and experience in the use of relevant software packages.
