Large Community Health Provider
Initial nine month contract with high likelihood of extensions
$70,174 + Super + Salary Packaging + 1 ADO each month

The role:

Find stories and write feature articles for this forward thinking organisation passionate about the state's health! Reporting into the Manager of Brand and Communications you will write engaging copy and communications collateral for an innovative and outgoing team. You will contribute to the newsletter, work across social media and drive online engagement. If you are flexible, upbeat and can evolve with a role, then become the storyteller this organisation is looking for!

This business has a very friendly and warm environment with great perks such as one allocated day off each month. The salary is $70,174 + Super with a 22nd January start date.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build the organisation's profile through development of relevant features and articles
  • Support industry and sector partnerships through joint media, publication, public relations and communication endeavours
  • Position the organisation as a leader in their industry through strategic public relations activities and their supporting communications
  • Maintain the organisation's public face through the management of its social media channels and regular updating of online news items (web, intranet and extranet)
  • Coordinate all external facing events affecting the organisation's reputation with external parties, with primary focus on events with Executive and Ministerial or Departmental involvement
  • Maintain social media channels and regularly update online news items (web, intranet and extranet)
  • Ensure brand integrity is maintained across public facing communication channels

About you:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a media related or communications role with proven copywriting skills generating and writing content, articles and stories for a range of internal and external audiences
  • Degree or Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations or similar
