An immediately-starting, short-term contract opportunity exists for an experienced Complaints Resolutions professional with a background in the disability services sector.

If you are seeking a challenge that will allow you to add value to a humanitarian-focused cause and have the rewarding opportunity to help disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals, then this is the perfect assignment for you!

Working in a small team on a temporary assignment of approximately 6 weeks (with scope for extension), you will be responsible for contributing to the strategic objectives of the organization and providing excellent customer services to individuals lodging complaints and concerns regarding disability service providers.

Some of your key daily responsibilities in this role will include the following:

  • Managing a caseload of complaints relating to disability services
  • Making recommendations to the Resolutions Manager for the conciliation, investigation or closure of complaints
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for complaints made to the Commissioner

In order to be successful for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience working in a complaints resolutions-focused role involving complex problem solving
  • A strong background in the disability services space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team
