Hudson is urgently seeking Customer Service representatives to join a high performing team in an established construction materials company. The multiple roles are based in Port Melbourne and are immediately available due to demand.

  • The team rotates in a roster that covers the hours of 6:00am - 5:00pm and a half day on Saturdays is worked twice a month 6:00am - 12:00pm
  • Unfortunately due to the length of assignment we are unable to consider applications from those on temporary work visas.


  • Provide exceptional Customer Service, answering enquiries via telephone,
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships,
  • Provide customers with regular updates with reference to job progress,
  • Processing orders through effective order scheduling to maximise volume, profitability and customer service,
  • Provide accurate feedback to customers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal,
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly,
  • Strong customer service focus,
  • Continually looking to improve,
  • Previous experience in a telephone based customer service setting,
  • Experience in the logistics, transport or construction industry (desirable but not essential),
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced and growing work environment,
  • Good knowledge of Melbourne's metropolitan geographical area.
