A large, well-known government organisation is seeking to engage an experience Enterprise Architect to lead the development, maintenance and implementation of enterprise architecture for multiple initiatives. You will have experience across a range of ICT technologies at enterprise level and will have demonstrated experience with the design, implementation and migration of Office 365.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of an extension, located in Brisbane CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of Enterprise Architecture to support and influence ICT enabled business change and related ICT planning and investment decisions.
  • Develop target state enterprise architecture and transition plans that help to define the ICT work plan and guide information management (IM) and ICT investment decisions.
  • Develop comprehensive strategy responses, briefs, submissions, presentations, reports, information papers and artefacts to influence the development of enterprise architecture and related project, ICT planning and investment issues and decisions.
  • Develop and review architectural blueprints, roadmaps, standards and directions; conduct feasibility studies and options analyses to support business case development, ICT procurement and implementation.
  • Provide well-informed advice, over a range of topics influencing the effectiveness of the organisation's business, information and ICT systems with the aim of optimising service costs through the implementation of innovation.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder groups, including senior management and IM/ICT professionals, facilitate open communication, capture and disseminate business and technical information to stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture across a range of contemporary ICT technologies at an enterprise level.
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce complexity, improve business alignment and maintain crucial information effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience with the design, implementation, testing, migration and support of Office 365.
  • Demonstrated experience in converting vendor product roadmaps into actionable programs of work aligned with existing business strategies.
  • Experience with, or knowledge of, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL and TOGAF.
  • Demonstrated experience working in large, complex Government or private organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills, with the ability to comfortably engage with C-level executives.
  • Professional representation to internal and external stakeholders.
