Job title: Events Coordinator / Consultation Coordinator

Contract: Federal Government, 5 months' contract

Location: Brisbane CBD

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Program Manager - Interoperability the Consultation Coordinator will manage the logistics and communications associated with the Agency conduction a round of broad-reaching consultation.

Specific duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Program Manager and other Agency branches regarding the planning and logistics of various events including workshops and interviews;
  • Assist with the scheduling, briefing, and execution of events;
  • First point of contact for all event related queries;
  • Contact participants to ensure they have the required information, ensure all participants receive information packs in a timely manner;
  • Follow up with confirmed participants to ensure they attend the workshops;
  • Maintain strong professional working relationships with government agencies and other key stakeholders;
  • Provide general administrative support.

Required skills and experience

  • Previous experience coordinating events;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all team members, especially those at senior levels;
  • Ability to maintain productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives;
  • Experience and skills in delivering superior customer service.
  • Desire and aptitude to broaden knowledge in Health sector;
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications (desirable).
