Our client is a global company that operates across Australia. They are looking for an HR Advisor to join their HR team on a 12 month contract based in their CBD office.

This is a varied and challenging role where you will provide generalist HR advice to managers and employees in the NSW business in conjunction with the HR Business Partner.

This is a true generalist position, in which you can grow your Human Resources experience and knowledge in a supportive, collaborative and rewarding environment. Your professional manner and willingness to learn will be central to your success in the role.

You will be a key contact to managers and staff in relation to providing generalist human resources advice and support to the business.

Key responsibilities include;

    • Contribute to the ongoing review and improvements of HR policies, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance

    • Provide training and coaching to managers in dealing with performance management issues and management of other cases

    • Manage recruitment assignments in conjunction with the central recruitment team

    • Reporting of HR data

    What we are looking for;

    • Degree qualified in Human Resources

    • Minimum 5 years experience in a Generalist HR role

    • Experience/involvement with ER/IR issues

    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

    • Proactive, resourceful and can do attitude!

    • This is a hands-on role requiring stakeholder management and the ability to interpret and provide advice under various industrial instruments. Your ability to provide professional, practical advice on a range of HR matters including performance management as well your ability to manage HR activities such as performance reviews across multiple locations is highly desirable. Working closely with the senior management team you will be the first point of contact to provide guidance and advice.
