This role is responsible for providing the full range of HR Generalist activities across the designated client group. The role will be responsible for:

  • Providing high quality HR support and advice to business leaders and staff across the client group
  • Partnering with the business to understand their strategic objectives and deliver people strategies in line with their objectives
  • Manage the workforce and culture HR requirements of any change programmes
  • Improving line manager capability through advice and support and coaching
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure compliance against policies and procedures

The successful candidate should have:

  • Demonstrated experience of managing client groups in a large and complex organisation
  • Extensive experience in facilitating complex change management initiatives and being able to project manage
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing human resources initiatives
  • Well developed influencing and negotiation skills with key stakeholders
  • Demostrated experience of coaching and developing line managers
  • Sound working knowledge with industrial oganisations and public sector structures
  • Ideally have experience within the public sector
