Greenfield HR role

The HR Manager position will be taking responsibility for setting up and establishing practices within the Australian market for this relatively new business venture which is part of a wider Global organisation. The role will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Partner with current ANZ operations team and wider global HR team to set up people plan and structure
  • Analyse and adjust group policies and procedures, localising them to fit within the Australian Legal framework
  • Attraction and recruitment of all new employees, managing end to end recruitment process, background checks and on-boarding process
  • Conduct market analyse and salary benchmarking to align compensation on a local basis
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;
  • Providing advice, guidance and support of all ER matters, managing case work in line with Australian legislation
  • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
  • Assessing training needs and organising L&D schedule of events to develop capability

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • At least 10 years HR Generalist experience in a flat structure, professional services from (ideally from a small to mid-size organisation
  • Solid knowledge and working experience of Australian ER legislation
  • An HR Related degree or professional qualifications (AHRI / CIPD)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Experience in a start-up organisation / greenfield HR role
